Although death is a natural part of life, it is one of the most difficult experiences to face, both for the person approaching it and for those walking beside them. As an end-of-life doula, and someone who has personally experienced what it means to prepare for death, I approach this work with empathy, understanding, and a deep respect for the sacred transition it represents.
My services are non-medical and non-clinical, focusing on the emotional, spiritual, and practical aspects of end-of-life care. I provide compassionate presence, holistic comfort, and continuity of care that helps reduce stress and burnout for both the individual and their loved ones.
The support I offer is personalized for each individual and may include:
• Building a relationship and offering companionship at any stage of the process
• Light home care, meal preparation, and gentle organizing to create a peaceful environment
• Supporting the fulfillment of final wishes and meaningful rituals
• Legacy and life-review projects—gathering stories, letters, or personal expressions
• Holistic spiritual care to ease fear and anxiety
• Respite time for caregivers and loved ones
• Guidance and presence throughout the transition process
Every situation is unique. My goal is to help bring as much comfort, clarity, and peace as possible to the experience of dying, for both the individual and those who love them.
If you find yourself in a season where this kind of support would be welcome, please don't hesitate to reach out.
